About Renny
We build the evidence, not the loan.
Renny is a trust and verification layer for home-improvement lending. Our product is a record: who agreed to what, when, and what they were looking at when they agreed.
Why we started
Home-improvement lending has a structural problem that no amount of good intent fixes: the merchant is in the room with the borrower and the lender is not. Whatever the merchant writes down becomes the record, and the merchant is the party with the incentive.
Regulators have been finding the consequences of that for years — loans originated without a borrower’s knowledge, merchants left to originate with little vetting, complaints handled one at a time. The enforcement actions are public and the remedies are expensive.
What nobody had built was the piece in the middle: a neutral system that collects the evidence at the moment it exists, refuses to clear a payment when the evidence is incomplete, and cannot rewrite its own history afterwards.
What we believe
- A control that lives in a policy document is a suggestion. A control that lives in the data is a control.
- An evidence system that can delete is not an evidence system.
- If a merchant can route around a safeguard, the safeguard does not exist.
- Naming what you have not built yet is how you get believed about what you have.
- Automation should use the same audited path a person uses, never a private one.
Where we are
Renny is an early-stage company with a working platform. We would rather tell you that than imply a scale we do not have.
The platform is built and running
The end-to-end path — project, scope, evidence, dual attestation, release authorization, disbursement, reporting — works today and is exercised against real data continuously.
We are looking for launch lenders
Partners who will help us sequence what comes next, starting with a pilot on one program rather than a platform migration.
We say what is missing
Third-party verification vendors, native mobile with trusted capture, and SOC 2 are on the roadmap and named as such on the trust page.
Get in touch
If you run a home-improvement lending program, or a contracting business that takes work through one, we would like to hear how it works today — including the parts that do not.

A note on this page
There are no customer logos, testimonials, or volume figures on this site. We do not have the first two yet, and inventing them is how a company loses the trust it is asking for. When they exist, they will appear here with the name of whoever agreed to be quoted.
Ask us for the audit pack.
Pick a closed project. We will show you the document you would hand a regulator. If it does not answer the question, nothing else matters.
